I Owe It All To The King

I’ve been a little bummed about my inability to drop my Katrina Gut, but only because I forget what it was like to be really overweight. Perspective I suppose. The King and stuff like this help the clarity of vision as well:

More and more obese people are unable to get full medical care because they are either too big to fit into scanners, or their fat is too dense for X-rays or sound waves to penetrate, radiologists reported on Tuesday.

Coming up on a year. Had I known I wasn’t going to be running for a while, I would have shot for a good seven pace instead of doing a muffin run.

The King treated me very well – I was around 240+ when I started, got down to 165, and after a few months of beer based therapy at the tail end of last year, I’m around 185. I’m sure I’ll get it back down, but still having difficulties with those days where I don’t strictly track.
